2. Baby food: yes or no?

Is the path of baby food during weaning advisable?


As specified by Dr. Dell'Oro in this video , the answer is no.


As I explained in this article dedicated to the history of weaning, the tendency to offer products very similar to current baby food to very young children began to take hold around the 1960s, a period in which the approach to foods other than milk began too early, even around 2 - 3 months.


The goal? To remove what was mistakenly considered a vice.


At the age mentioned above, but also at 4 - 5 months , the baby is not able to manage foods other than breast milk or formula.
